This place is off the charts awesome. I really dig the endless space and feeling of freedom walking around. This puts South Bend on the map for me.
I found Zen Cafe after searching on Google for a nice independent coffee shop. The building looks "industrial", to put it generously, the entrance is set in the back of the lot and the door is tough to spot but once inside you find an airy seating area and a well equipped clean and modern coffee bar with a well capable barista. The coffee is roasted on site, too. Well worth the journey.

This is a killer awesome café. I went in and their barista Tyler made my friend and I an awesome cup of joe. Really comfy place to work too.
