I shop at Wal-Mart all the time but I am starting to shop else where because you go to shop and there is only 3 or 4 lanes open. I waited in line for 45 minutes last week only to have people push in front of me because the husband was at the checkout and they had their own cart. So I pushed my cart to customer service and politely asked them to have someone put my stuff back because I have a life and am no longer going to wait in line. When you first opened you were great. Now not so much.
So sick and tired of lack of registers open. Managers still making the excuse that "the employees don't come to work". Really?
Lines are always long and nobody seems to be in charge of the checkout area. They never call for help from associates on the floor when the lines are long. I can get my shopping pretty much done in about 20-25 minutes but it takes over a half hour to get through the checkout. I guess I could go through the self checkout but I don't remember writing to the CEO of Walmart telling him how much I want to be a checkout clerk. If I wanted to be a checkout clerk I would've applied for that position.
The actual deal breaker is the wait in line. Each of the last 4 times, i have waited at the checkout more than 15-20 minutes. Management must be making serious bonuses because they are trying to run less than 6 cashiers at any given moment. Completely unacceptable.
Never even close to having enough cashiers working. Always have to wait forever in line. Cashiers in the speedy checkouts are always letting people thru with like $100+ worth of merchandise in their carts ...rediculace.
How much longer are you told to use that line of bull? How about making it worth their while TO COME TO WORK? I feel sorry for the few employees that are running the registers because I feel their stress as they see how many customers are in their line which makes them work faster and are stressed out. Some have told me so. So come on Walmart! Get it together! Your employees and customers will be grateful.
I have visited this store 3 times in the past several weeks. I normally love to look at clearance items. Not at this store! I have noticed that clearance here is rarely priced to sell. Very often the sale prices are less than 10% off and sometimes, no discount at all. Not a deal breaker but it is quite irritating.
