Meijer is a good grocery store. Prices are competitive and they have descent sales. I prefer Meijer produce over the other major grocery stores. It is cheaper and a good quality.
I love shopping at Meijer. The store is always clean and overall the staff is friendly. The portage road location also has a great produce section and meat counter. There are usually plenty of lanes open for checkout too, which is a huge plus when shopping with a baby and a 3 year old!
I love Meijer! But this location needs some work. More lanes open when it is busy! Need better lighting in some areas as well.
There's just so many option & deals everywhere but I keep finding my self coming back here it's just better.
I prefer Meijer way over Martin's or any other grocery store in the area. This is mainly because of prices and convenience, but also because they seem to be a good company that runs their business well. I wish there were more central locations in South Bend, but I still go to this location when I am in town.
