After switching from many different groomers in the area, we decided to give For Pets Sake a try. Since then, we have stuck with it! Taylor Hanson always does a great job with our Pomeranian, and the prices are great! The biggest reason I have stuck with them is that they will finish in 2-3 hours and call you as soon as your dog is finished. Many other groomers in the area have seemed to keep my dogs all day- not too fun for the dog. I completely recommend For Pets Sake!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These people should be shut down. They shaved my double coated dog and wouldn't even bother to explain why. Not to mention they won't ever answer their phone.
Our dogs can be a little spoiled, but the staff handle then beautifully and our pups look great and happy when we pick them up!
I took my Shih Tzu "Champ" to For Pets Sake Pet Grooming, for a wash and groom. After picking my dog up, his body was groomed the way that I liked and that is why I gave a rating of three stars. But I was displeased with how uneven Champ's face, head, and ears had turned out. On behalf of For Pet's Sake pet grooming, they did offer to correct the problem if we chose to bring Champ back in. The only problem with that is, you only get one chance to make a first impression... Is there anyone in South Bend or Mishawaka, who can properly groom a Shih-Tzu?
