My mother tried calling the emergency number multiple times to get this issue fixed ASAP because the shuttle was also going to be taking our guests from the hotel to the reception. He was not answering or calling back. Our guests had to take the bus too without AC and were all hot and miserable and I felt terrible, as the bride, putting my guests through that. When he (the owner) finally did call back he basically complained about having to get another bus to us and made it our fault/problem.
Additionally, our sound system on the bus for music also broke within 20 minutes of being on the bus after the wedding ceremony. The driver had no idea where she was going and me (the Bride) was having to tell our driver where to go at every turn. It was very frustrating as I should not have been having to do that. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would never recommend this company to anyone for their big day as they were rude and unreliable.
They refused to compensate my brother for the nonfunctioning bus.
Because there is no option for zero stars I will give it a one. Tim's Tours was a terrible experience. My brother used them for their wedding & the air stopped working within the 1st half an hour of 3 hours of taking pictures outside in 95 degree weather! Our sound system wouldn't work for more than half the ride.They are unprofessional, have ZERO customer service skills, dodged calls when the bride's mother called the second we had issues. Because of the fact that the bus had no air conditioning I got heat stroke and missed my brother &sister-in law's ENTIRE reception! A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME EVENT TOTALLY LOST! IF YOU USE TIM'S TOURS YOU ARE GAMBLING WITH MISSING LIFE TIME EVENTS THAT YOU CAN NEVER GET BACK.
Matt has been very good to work with. He has always been very helpful and considerate. Tim's Tours offers great service for tours and parties. Will always use them. I've read other reviews and that is not a typical day for sure.
It is so sad because the previous owner, Tim, actually cared and this new owner is ruining his business. When we tried calling him to explain our experiences, he was rude and unapologetic and said we were lying. I will never recommend this place to anyone and regret using it for our big day.
Not only did Tim's Tours waste our time but they were willing to gamble with my life for a few bucks.
I will give 1 star just to be nice. Unfortunately, the new owner is not a very nice guy and does not care about his customers. We used Tim's Tours for our wedding this past weekend (June 11, 2016) and we had a horrible experience. It was the hottest day yet (95 degrees) and our bus's air went out within 20 minutes (the driver and owner tried telling us it was the last 5 minutes, but this is a lie!!!!) It was so hot that one of my bridesmaids got heat stroke and everyone was miserable on the bus. It was hard to enjoy it and we missed out on a lot of pictures at Notre Dame because my bridal party was too hot and had to stand in the bookstore in the AC.
I happened to LOVE both pur experiences with Tims Tours. Buses were clean, driver was an excellent driver, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxing as well. Will DEFINITELY reccomend to anyone! I can't wait for our next trip in August!
