I would recommend this school to anyone looking for culinary, the degree is very affordable.
Attended in 2011 some classes were decent but did not pertain to anything I was learning
Currently a student in auto tech classes. Anyone wanting to attend here, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The school has a shop full of cars, yet students are not allowed to touch ANY of them! The only thing we can work on is our own cars! So if you just so happen to have a car that doesn't break down everyday (like me) you are s*** out of luck and will gain ZERO experience in the automotive field and will be near graduating not knowing anything! Unless you can remember every single word out of the books you are screwed! Avoid the South bend campus of ivy tech like the plague! And forget about anyone in charge helping you or even giving a damn that you're not learning anything. All they want is your money.
Good school. Majoring in Nanotechnology and Pre Engineering and i have to say its technology based as in courses if you want to take those courses. They have trig based physics 1 and 2 they call them, Calculus based physics with mechanics and heat optics and electronics . Calculus 1 and 2 and Calculus for technology 1 and 2. Derivate calculus and Multivariable Calculus and Differential equations and Brief Calculus. Pretty intensive for a community college. Money's worth
I am in the culinary program, the instructors are very knowledgeable. The curriculum is challenging and thourough, you will learn a great deal. The campus and school building in general are well maintained and the staff is helpful and accommodating.
Its a great place!!! Teachers are cooperative to students. Love it
