Worst most confusing service ever. I get quoted half price appetizers because of football season and then ten minutes later, while waiting on my appetizers, told that the price couldn't be honored. I will not be back.
Let's get this out of the way first - our server worked her tail off for us and was wonderful, considering the circumstances. She and her coworker waiting tables were alone; the manager contented himself to stay at the bar or the front door. He was quick to point out tables that needed to be cleaned, or tables that needed drinks, but did not once offer to help (or even interact with customers). When our food came out, she said she was very sorry upfront, and I could see why. The boneless Buffalo wings we ordered were about 2/3 actual Buffalo wings, and 1/3 chicken skins fried and tossed with Buffalo sauce. The creamy chicken pasta dish that I ordered had no cream sauce. She gave us discounts since it was quite late in the evening after a Notre Dame football game, and we still had to drive home, but when I asked her about the quality of food, she sighed and said "that's pretty typical for the kitchen."
Our server got a very hefty tip considering how hard she was working, and if I could give that young lady 5 stars out of 5 I would. As is, she was the one bright spot in an otherwise very poor dining experience. I won't be returning any time soon.
Waited over 45 minutes for our entrees and when we did get them... THEY WERE COLD. our server the last 2 times has just forgotten us. The managers seem to not care about unhappy customers and what the kitchen is doing. Jeez Applebees u can do better
This place is hit or miss. Lately, it's been more miss than hit. We've had terrible service and terrible food more than a few times. Last visit though was very good. We go on Thursdays for half price appetizers.
Went in about an hour until close. The people working we're very friendly. They didn't have enough ribs for my brother and I both to get some. Which I was okay with, I understand sometimes you run out of something in a restaurant. The food was very good. Get the Mac And Cheese. Even though it was not busy it still took a long time for our food.
