To drink, we had an apple moonshine drink and a vodka soda. Altogether, our meals and drinks came to $42!!!!!! The prices here are great.
The Express Lunch is the best deal in town. Hard to decide between a burger or pulled pork, which are both great, plus fries or a side for $5.00. There are other options as well. The new owners have done a great job on the menu, layout and atmosphere. This place is destined to be a South Bend institution.
I wish they’d consider hosting trivia here because I’d like an excuse to come back every week.
Service is amazing! There will be a very long wait on food no matter how many people are in the building. And it's just okay. Definitely will return for the service. But I will go somewhere else to eat
The food here is SO good. We ordered the beer cheese Mac n Cheese with Bacon for an appetizer, and it was literally the best we’ve ever had. We also had cups of rosemary chicken and dumplings soup: also very good. For our main courses, I had the blackened catfish and onion petals. My husband had the chicken and waffles. Seriously everything was delicious.
Great food! Steve makes the Best Burger! Dave is the best! The staff makes it a great place! Too bad they don't utilize the stage to it's potential!
Literally the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. So bad in fact not only did we leave but the table next to us did as well. Our server took forever to great us when we finally ordered he didn't even ask how we wanted our burgers cooked so I had to ask if we had an option. We got one drink in the span of two hours that we were there waiting on our food, in which time we ended up have to flag our waiter down and ask for another drink and ask on the status of our food he informed us it was the kitchens fault and the food always takes about an hour ( which he should have informed us of as soon as we were seated) we finally got our food and he threw it down on the table and ran off without saying a word ,and to no surprise our orders were wrong. We then informed the manager who was also serving tables and she said she'd take our meals off and be right there with our check , we waited about another half hour before we just left cash and walked out. They had no sense of urgency or professionalism. I have never witnessed such horrendous customer service and wouldn't recommend them to anyone
