Went there for the first time today. Food was absolutely delicious. I had lunch and my husband had breakfast. We split a piece of pie, which was quite big. Prices are very reasonable. WEe will definitely be returning. Very nice wait staff too! Love this place.

Nice diner/cafe style place to sit, eat, and do some work out of the office. Good food, nice staff, coffee cup kept filled at all times!
I travel to South Bend once every couple of months to visit my wife's family. When I'm there I enjoy checking out all the unique restaurants in different personally-owned areas in the city. South Bend in my book definitely has one of the best selections of privately owned restaurants that offer different and unique Foods. The yellow Cat Cafe was a great little place with some unique character had decent food and was just an enjoyable place to sit and chat. It's definitely that place that you go that makes you feel like you just walked in to Cheers because everyone knows everyone. I know several individuals and South Bend who frequent it often and even though it doesn't have the most expensive furniture and doesn't have the nicest dress it's still a good place to go and hang out with some friends.
Great place for a traditional American breakfast. Nothing fancy. Just good food, nice people, and a laid back atmosphere.
