About 6 months back I was looking for a part to fix a dripping faucet, something I had never done before. After spending an hour each at Lowe's and Home Depot with no results, it was suggested I try Builders Store. I was greeted as I came in the door and after a brief wait while they finished helping another customer, they helped me find the part I was looking for and figure out exactly which version I needed for my faucet. After talking for another minute to get some details about the problem I was having, they then told me that rather than buy the $15 stem kit I had asked for, I could just replace the seat washer on the stem for $3 and keep the stem. Worked perfectly and it's become my go to hardware store from then on.
This store has everything you need for nearly any project. The customer service and the knowledge of the guys there is unbelievable. Love this place!
One of the few remaining stores of this kind...very helpful & knowledgeable staff. You won’t get this kind of help on big chain stores.

You could fight traffic on grape road and go to a big home improvement store where no one wants to help you and it takes an hour to find what you need, OR for the same price, you can go here and be helped by someone who knows what they're talking about. The choice is obvious. This place is great!
