I love hungry Howie's! They are always on time, whether you order pick up or delivery. Everyone is always polite. One time one of the delivery guys gave me a tip on what coupons to us to get an even cheaper pizza! Their app is also fantastic and makes it easy to order and earn free pizza. And the pizza is delicious of course!
Pizza is always hot and delicious. Salad is always fresh (even when they have disgusting olives). I can't emphasize enough how great the staff are. Not a single bad experience and I've been coming here for years. Marcos is good and all... But Howies is a well rounded pizza joint. A secret jewel for such a small place.
This was my first time experiencing the WONDERFUL and FRESH flavor of their DELICIOUS calzone sandwich. Nothing short of AMAZING!
This place is always, always on point. No matter when I call, I'm always greeted with excellent customer service. They have gotten my order wrong twice for black olives on a salad - I am easily classified as a demon customer for how angry I get at this. But every time I call, someone is always there to listen and apologize and make it right. I cannot stay mad at a place that recognizes their mistake and fixes it with no attitude. Too many places act like it is your fault the order is wrong.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Called in an order during a busy hour last Saturday - they told me it would take 20 minutes for the 3 pizzas and Howie bread. Showed up after 20 minutes and the order wasn't ready (they had an issue with one of the pizzas). It took about 40 minutes from the time of the phone call to get out the door, but the manger was very apologetic, friendly, and didn't make me pay a dime (of the $25 order) for their mixup. That is what I call GREAT customer service. This will keep me coming back - a loyal customer!
The pizza here is pretty good. the cheese has this very satisfying gooeyness to it, especially if you opt for extra. You can also get a variety of flavored crusts which is cool. My ex wife loves this place, but we wouldn't get it all that often because it is on the opposite side of town as we are. Also, they never really have any good specials. This is my one complaint about the place. If I am going to get my pizza from a chain (they're the only one in town, but still a chain), then I expect an excellent price. The service here is always super friendly, though.
