I lived in South Bend my whole life and a place I always enjoyed going was the Chase Tower! I loved the view and I love the design of South Bends tallest building. I was very upset when the hotel closed inside it, but the new Aloft which opened recently is a very beaufiful hotel. It modernizes all the issues with the Chase Tower and makes it look very nice! I’m very impressed with the Aloft with their very nice lobby and rooms. The staff is very friendly to! The only little problem I have with this place is me and my sister had to use the bathroom and the Aloft was the closest place. We went inside and the guy immediately asked if we were guests at the hotel. I said no we just have to use the bathroom. He said they’re to the left and I said thanks! Then, when I was done in the bathroom my sister was still in there and the guy at the front desk kept staring at me sitting on the bench and it was making me feel kinda uncomfortable. Overall this is a beautiful hotel and I love it! Just fix that little problem and this place would be fantastic!
Stayed on points, and I'm not sure that I would have paid the going rate for the room, and would have likely stayed somewhere else if I was paying cash. If they dropped the price a bit it would be a great That being said, we really enjoyed the corner room we had. We did wish that the hallways weren't so dark.
Our hockey team stayed at this location over the weekend. We could not have asked for a better stay. They were accommodating and understanding. They have board games, computers, and pool tables for all ages to enjoy on the first floor. The only downfall was that the pool was not finished being built but we knew this when reserving the room. As a hockey team they allowed us to use a conference room on the 6th floor so we could all hangout one of the nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with large parties. Another great bonus was that they were dog friendly. :)
Was really looking forward to stay, staff very friendly, great bar, social area, room very nice, great views, but security and managing task not good. Kids and other hotel people running down hallways, sitting on ground in hallways talking loud. Called front desk twice , ask people to respect other patrons, i have had way better sleep and respect at motel 6 during sturgis. 1 security guard not enough
I thought this was and awesome hotel. Its style modern/elegant and is jist beautiful. Unfortunately the hotel hadnt had its grand opening when i stayed so i was unable to see the pool. The lounge was nice and had lots of seating. The staff was awesome!
